sorry for posting another cookie shot, margaret

Best 11.5 minute cookies ever. Store-bought peanut butter cookie dough (this is Nestles, but I think Reese’s is slightly better), pretzel, and a square of a Symphony bar with almonds and toffee. A little sprinkle of flaky salt would put it right over the edge.
LOL! I'm taking notes! Last time I looked for peanut butter cookie dough at the grocery I couldn't find any. You know the kind of cookies where you bake the cookie dough in a mini-muffin pan and shove a little Reese's cup in when it comes out of the oven? Anyway, I guess I'll have to look again now. Unfortunately, my older-than-I-am (aka "vintage") oven seems to be malfunctioning. Hopefully it's repairable.

@margonaut I just moved and now have an electric oven/stove. Can’t get the hang of it and two of the burners are broken. Lots of take-out this week (although, I did just buy some Reese’s cookie dough . . .)

you moved?!?!?!?! And didn't say a thing. Oh Lordie, everybody in the universe would hear about it if I had to take that on. The attic alone is enough to keep me here until I die.

So how did you do these, exactly? Do you bake the cookies first then add the pretzel and chocolate when they come out of the oven? I have all the ingredients now, but not sure what to do with them. Thank goodness my stove has two ovens. The large one is a goner but the small one is still working, so I can make small quantities. Which is probably best in the long run!

@margonaut Yes, bake the cookies first then add the pretzels and put the chocolate on top. The chocolate melts a bit and then you can put it in the fridge to firm up a bit. We’ve decided that they would be better with the square pretzels.
