what to cook when there’s nothing in the house to eat

. . . the title of one of my favorite cook books by Arthur Schwartz. Tuna, pasta, capers, marinated artichokes, olive oil, and arugula. The original recipe is just the tuna, capers, pasta, and olive oil (my go-to recipe when I don’t feel like cooking anything) but the arugula was on its last legs and I had just bought the artichokes. The arugula didn’t do much for the dish but made me feel like I was eating something healthy. I’m great at deluding myself.
