Speaking of Daddy LL, there is a great book called Daddy-Long-Legs by Jean Webster. It was written in 1912–even before my mother was born! It’s aimed at girls somewhat older than you, but I think anyone could enjoy it. It’s a classic! I’m pretty sure it was one that my mom read to me and my sister. And since then I read it every once in a while, just for fun. A girl who has grown up as an orphan goes off to college thanks to an anonymous donor. She’s required to write to him each month about what she’s learning etc. It’s all written as the letters she is writing, which are funny and include some stick people drawings she drew.
Well, enough about the book. Great drawing! The eyes are really impressive!
