we went out to dinner tonight for my mum's birthday...it doesn't seem like 12 months ago since we organised her 80th birthday, the years are flying around now...anyway she had a lovely night, with her family (unfortunatly minus 1 grandson & 2 son-in-laws who were away working).
I rang her when we were about 3 minutes away to let her know that we were on the way to pick her up...not realising until we got to the restaurant that none of us had actually told her what was happening!! Just lucky that she hadn't given up on us & already eaten...oh well she got a surprise :)
