Sadie the cleaning lady.... by winshez

Sadie the cleaning lady....

well this is the life...the washing machine is on, the dishwasher is on & Robbie Robot is doing the vacuuming, all while I sit here on 365.
Forgive the blur but he wouldn't sit still long enough for me to take a photo & I didn't want to disturb him too much :)

LYRICS: Sadie (the cleaning lady) by John Farnham - 1967

Ah Sadie , the cleaning lady
Her aching knees not getting any younger
Well her red detergent hands
Had for years not held a man's
And time would find her heart expired of hunger
Scrub your floors , do your chores , dear old Sadie
Looks as though you'll always be a cleaning lady
Can't afford to get bored , dear old Sadie
Looks as though you'll always be a cleaning lady
Great poem to that interresting pic . I have to do vacuuming still by myself

@pyrrhula thanks for you kind comment...the lyrics above are from a song by one of our great performers, John Farnham. It's a fun song that he recorded in 1967 & he still gets requests to sing it at his concerts!!!
