Dali's Egg – Hijacked. by yaorenliu

Dali's Egg – Hijacked.

It is a long story, all I want to say is that I set out under the inspiration of Dali in the weekend, even carefully boiled the egg to prevent from the possible messy disaster, I still cannot save the egg from the seagulls. I did not get the shot in my mind. Next time.
It may not be the shot you had in mind but it's pretty damned cool none the less.

Cool shot....well worth the effort! So, did you lose the egg to the seagulls?! ;-(

Told you!!!! Another treasure of your unique mind! What if seagulls will adopt it and raise a newborn chickgull! ;)

@jborrases I did a surrealism course many years ago and totally forgot it until I see your post a few months ago. I got the book recently about Dali and his art works. It is difficult to realise them in the photo forms. Henri Cartier-Bresson’s early works have a lot of surrealism flavour I just have to keep my eyes open for opportunities.

@ksyu Unique mind...Ksyu is being very kind. Did the gulls sit on it for long?
October 29th, 2014
@kathiecb Long enough to realise that it is a “fruitless” boiled egg.

@yaorenliu Sat on it for a bit and then ate it. Not a Motherly instinct.

Great creativity !

Very cool and surreal--would it fit the "absurdist" theme for this week? I think it might--very creative idea, Yao!

Still, it makes me want to figure out what it means. But with Dali, who knows?
