Dust of Snow by yentlski

Dust of Snow

Dust of Snow

by Robert Frost

The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree

Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.

I took a quick break at work today to capture this, I was under a large bridge the embankment of which you see to the right I thought the darkness from beneath the bridge in the foreground lent a little drama to this winter scene. Oh and I love Robert Frost and thought this Poem was kind of fitting
Superb winter scene in B&W. The poetry fits the photo & a nice added touch.

It's a beauty... but I have miles to go before I sleep.

(very cool perspective!)

Wonderful shot, Jim. I really like the lighting and the angles. Great poem. We do crosswords every morning so I especially like the word rued. I wish we still used it now!
