12:52 a.m. — Lucy is sleeping in the front coat closet, the place she's always gone when she isn't feeling well. She's so weak and wobbles when she walks. Her little kidneys might be shutting down from working so hard for 18 years. We don't know for sure yet. Whatever it is, it's breaking my heart. 💔
UPDATE: It is Lucy's kidney's. She's gonna have to get sub-q fluids each night for the rest of her life. Seems to perk her up. She has good days and bad. So glad it's not her time yet. I dread that day...
