Every spring I look up to the sky behind our house and see our Pin Oak towering over the rooftop. It amazes me every time. We planted this tree ourselves in 1986. It was so scrawny that we had to stake it to grow straight. Today it's a majestic tree with bright green leaves against a deep blue sky providing lots of shade and a home to a variety of critters.
