Today was Shopping Club at the Dollar Tree then lunch at Chick-Fil-A. I had picked my friend Marcia up since she just had shoulder surgery last week and couldn't drive. On the way home, she asked me to drop her off at a hair salon called Hair Inc. to have her hair washed and blown out. It's right in my neighborhood but in the 33 years since we've lived in our house I had never been in even though I pass it everyday. Turns out it was a hip and happenin' salon that a 30-something bought from the previous owner. Right in back of the reception desk was this painting. I can't decide if it was left over from the 60's when the place was going strong or if it is a new purchase that looks dated but cool. I need to do a little research to find out. It's great. I love the frame too. It's all so very kitch.
