I FINALLY went back to the gym today after a three month hiatus. My left knee was really hurting but I went anyway and rode the recumbent bike for 50 minutes. When I got home, I took everyone's advice and iced it. Instead of using the industrial-style ice packs that Ande uses when he ices his joints I used my cute monkey ice pack I got at The Container Store. It was perfect and my knee actually feels better. I'm going to ice it again after my workout on Thursday. Hopefully, more success.
