Our Thanksgiving vacay started today. My sister drove in from Louisville to start things off. First we wrapped presents then I set the table and prepared our Thanksgiving feast.
We had a 3-lb rolled, boneless turkey breast from the butcher seasoned with garlic oil, thyme, rosemary and sage; cubed sweet potatoes sprinkled with cinnamon; sautéed fresh green beans with onions, mushrooms and almonds; individual casseroles of The Fresh Market's Mac 'n' Cheese topped with seasoned Panko breadcrumbs; and a can of jellied cranberry sauce my sister brought (that's her favorite!). We ended the evening with pumpkin pie and cheesecake with strawberries for dessert. So festive with our Chanukah gifts in the background. Family = ❤️
