Went the the Butterfly house with @nickspicsnz today. There were loads of these blue morpho's flying around, but as soon as they settled they shut their wings. We both took loads trying to capture one with it's wings open. I eventually found this one, and convinced myself it must be dead. Spoke to one of the staff who proved to us it was very much alive. Perseverance paid off!
Both of them are just stunning, the picture of the butterfly with its wings closed, and the beautiful "outside"; and this one with the bright blue open wings!
