Whangamarino Wetlands

The wetlands are even wetter than normal. The whole area is waterlogged. The huts you can see are hides or maimai for duck shooting

Tide is certainly in! An interesting image and I think the duck shooters would need a snorkel if it was shooting season.

Tide in here for sure - Snap! I posted a 'tide out' photo of an estuary today. I like the maimai scattered everywhere.
