kauri are among the world's mightiest trees, growing to over 50 m tall, with trunk girths up to 16 m, and living for over 2000 years. Hard to see the scale of this tree.
Nice pov. I like all the lichen growing on the trunk. I was looking up a tree today too... but not at 5.56am!!!! Where on earth were you at that time of day to see a kauri tree!!!!
