Ski Field landscape-3

Obviously it's not the skiing season here in NZ. This is at Mount Ruapahu our nearest ski field. About a 3 hour drive. It's now autumn here and it felt very chilly to us at 7°C. Have grown very soft living here.

Just a couple a small patches of snow... The was quite a covering of snow last week when I was in the South Island and certainly felt the effects of it... Nice shot.

I can't imagine how they were able to install that chair lift in those rocks - quite a feat! Looks great against the blue sky - won't be real long until those mountains are snow covered.
