Took a road trip out to Port Jackson on the Coromandel Peninsula today. A 300km round trip, over 6 hours due to the roads. The Port Jackson Road is a pretty rugged road. Its 25.7 km long along the coast, with stunning coastal views. There are some narrow sections -scarcely wide enough for two cars- where if two vehicles have to pass each other, one might have to reverse for some kilometers of winding narrow road to get to a place wide enough to pass. Beautiful day for a road trip
How utterly delightful! I have a friend on the Coromandel at Whangamata. It always looks such a beautiful place. I love your photo of the bay here. So unspoiled.
