Quokka by yorkshirekiwi

Quokka

Well you can't go to Rottnest Island and not post a picture of a Quokka!
The quokka is a small macropod about the size of a domestic cat. Like other marsupials in the macropod family (such as kangaroos and wallabies), the quokka is herbivorous and mainly nocturnal. Although on Rottnest they seem to be around during the day and are scarily tame
Great capture. First time I have heard of or seen one

I just love these quokkas! They're quite tame as they have no predators or cars on the island :) fav
