Had to go out to do some food shopping, so I came back via the Wetlands, so at least I would have a photo for the day. This is a part of a 7,000 hectare mosaic of swamps, fens and peat bogs which makes up the Whangamarino Wetland. Caught a few ducks taking off too
One would think you would see lots of birds here in a wetland but I haven't heard it to be a bird paradise! Makes a great photo looking towards the green slopes!
