Plague Skink by yorkshirekiwi

Plague Skink

I know it's a skink, so I tried to ID what sort. I have a suspicion it may be a plague or rainbow skink which is a native of Australia, potentially competing with our native lizard species for food, habitat and space. From what I understand the only difference between this and the native skink is the scale pattern on the head. Unfortunately I can't make that out from this photograph
Skink is a skink.. but good research.. and he's got a whole tail.. don't let your cats get him..
