This is so typical of me. I go on a bush walk and take my long lens with me expecting to see birds. I forget how totally silent New Zealand bush can be. Should have taken my macro lens, lots of lovely moss and ferns. May be a week or so before I can go out again. Covid has jumped the Auckland border, putting us into Level 3 again. Back in my bubble.
When you think about what the New Zealand bush should sound like, it is tragic! Let's hope the pest free drive can bring back the birds!
I have to travel into Hamilton tomorrow - to take my daughter for her weekly medical treatment. I hope they let us through!!
@dkbarnett Oh I hope so too, where do you have to travel from Delwyn? It sounds like they are only going to be random checking into Hamilton. There are too many roads in and out. My car is in the garage having it's service done in Hamilton. I have one of their loan cars, I'm wondering if I will be able to collect it. Although really I'm still in zone 3 going to zone 3. It's all very confusing
I thought of you TK people when the news broke. It is hard to continue to be diligent, but so important. Hopefully you won’t be in that level for too long.
