The mosses in the forest are so lush and green compared to the vegetation out in the full sun. According to my thermometer in the car as I left t was 30°C. I'm sure there must be a real name for these pretty feathery mosses, but a Quick Look on iNaturalist, and I was bamboozled.
PlantNet thinks it is Brazilian water mil-foil. That’s based on saying it was a leaf lookup. It usually is more accurate with flowers, so I’m not positive. Whatever it is, it is a very pretty moss.
