If you look at Percy's head, he has a deep scratch mark. He just doesn't get that Sapphie doesn't like him. What you can't see here is, there's a black lump next to him, a growling black lump. Sapphie is under the bed cover, Percy has obviously tried to follow and got slashed at for his troubles. Rather than giving up and leaving her alone though, he chooses to curl up nearly on top of her. Meanwhile trying to prove that she earns her keep, last night Sapphs brought in 2 mice and a baby rat!
Oh poor Percy he really wants to be friends. This sounds just like my boys - I thought Finlay would like a little brother to play with - how wrong could I be? LOL!! Hopefully in the end Saphire will get to love him - how can she resist his gorgeous face!!
