Strength Training

Finally decided to participate in the 52 week challenge for 2022. Challenging indeed, as I hate being photographed. Another challenge I'm taking part in is with a group of friends who are trying to "move" for 50 days in a row. We are trying to make a habit of some form of exercise. This is me, trying to build up the strength in my arms to carry my camera combination of a Nikon D500 and a 200-500mm lens. Hope to have less camera shake LOL

Challenge explained here:

This looks a good exercise to do - must try it myself.

@brigette nearest Les Mills is 50km away. Nearly killed myself doing one of their easy online lockdown workouts. No,I have a personal trainer who lives locally and is a wonderful coach.

This is a great self portrait that shows some of your environment too. I like that you caught yourself in action.

I need something to push me back to doing my "light" (8 lbs) weights that I used pretty faithfully for lots of years - until Jerik & Nancie moved in with me. Really felt they did a lot of good. I need to print this picture out and stick it on my mirror :)

Sounds like a good challenge. Think I need to start doing that, as my camera and new 150-600 lens is a lot heavier than what I had been toting around.
