Not a good shot, but still one for the project. We had been in Australia for a least 3 weeks and not seen a single Kangaroo. We had driven down close to the lake and spent quite a while watching the sun setting and we were driving back out through some trees, when we spotted this scene, just grabbed my camera and starting shooting before they disappeared. (should have checked my settings)

Cool shot. Must be like seeing deer. When you see them anymore, you usually see a bunch. Auto or Program mode's not always bad, especially when you're traveling.
This would have been fabulous if they were in focus but you just don't have time in these situations! We didn't see one kangaroo when we were over there!
Beautiful. I am so pleased you captured this great scene. Would you believe at our Uni & Golf course here the Kangaroos are protected & they are everywhere watching the players & the Uni students can even pat some of them.
