When I looked up the meaning of "hoary" this photo projects anything but. (Although i know it's their name) They steal the scene, they a new and fresh.
Lovely capture. Now, if I'm right, we used to call these 'carl doddies' (sp?), and we used to play with them trying to knock the heads of them using the other grass as a 'whip'. Does that ring any bells with you Jo?
