White Throated Dipper

I went especially to try and capture this little guy and was lucky enough to find him down at the stream today. He is not easy so spot. Still hoping for a better shot.

Beautiful bird, and lovely shot. You are right about them being hard to spot, I spent ages once creeping closer and closer to one on a far bank. Never taking my eyes off him, so I did not lose him if he moved. Just as I got nearly close enough, to take a nice shot, I saw two that were on my side of the river and really close and must have been in view all the time. Of course as soon as I saw them, they both flew off.

@maggiemae Yes, they love swift moving water, and walk into the water submerging themselves they are equally good swimmers as flyers
