I presume from the name, there are puffins over there? I wonder if they fly over to the mainland for good photos!

Beautiful shot Jo! Love the rocks in the foreground and the Island in the background. Seeing the boat is so small gives you an idea how far out the island is! FAV

@maggiemae Maggiemae thank you for your visit and comment on my shot Puffin Island, is an site of special scientific interest, and special protection area, and as such noone is allowed to land on the island, which has a large colony of cormorants, the Puffins were almost wiped out in the late 19th century, but are now starting to increase. They do have cruises around the island though.
