I disturbed an underground wasp nest yesterday as I was mowing the lawn. Loads of them emerged and luckily for me blamed the lawn mower except for the one that stung my calf muscle, (which is still sore) - the little blighter.
This is Richard who assures me that all is now well.
But you were able to dress right for this event! You must have bees as well! Get the wasp nest at night when they all go back in and pour some petrol in then light it! It works beautifully!
Good job he is all rugged up for the occasion. I used to hate wasps when I lived in the UK. They are horrible little blighters. Luckily we don't get them where I live. Mind you we do have other nasties though.
Miserable to find them like that, but glad you were able to take care of the problem - not sure where we'd find someone who does that work! You definitely need the proper gear.
Well he is certainly dressed for the job. FYI worcestshire (I know I spelled that wrong!) is really great for taking the sting out of wasp and bee stings. Just put some on with a cotton swab and it will also keep the area from swelling up. You might smell like a burger for a while, but it won't sting anymore!
