Won't be going to far today!!

Well don't think I will be venturing to far today. Although it has subsided a little it is still raining very heavily. Was totally unaware until my daughter rang to see what to do about tomorrow, I am supposed to meeting my daughter tomorrow for her birthday lunch in Northampton - not sure it we will make it, as this is our road. and only way. Not great pictures, I had Casey (my Dalmation) with me and she kept trying to pull me away from the water.
Jo, that doesn't look very pleasant at all. I hope you are keeping safe, warm and dry. I hope that the water level doesn't rise any higher.

Beach road looks as if it really is a beach with tons of water!
December 26th, 2015
Oh dear Jo, you have had it bad. I am not surprising that your dog pulled you away; they have sense of danger. It is hard walking in that as I know from when we were flooded a few years ago and it poured through the gateway. We had to drive through a deep water and 'new river' to get home tonight so I am relieved that the rain has stopped.
