Contradiction - Pink-bluebell

Not sure why the bluebells are coming up pink this year - still pretty just the same.

These are growing in amongst the blue bluebells in the lane.

Lovely close up. Pink is rare. I did find white the other day, but most of our blue bells run wide all over the coast.

Beautiful shot of the pretty pink bells. I've seen them before too. I assume it's some sort of genetic mutation or something...

(Just looked it up - apparently Spanish bluebells also come in pink and white...

Both are quite closely related to hyacinths, so I guess that explains why they have similar colours.
