Took Casey my 11 year old Dalmatian to the vets this morning as she had not been her usual self for a few days and off her food. Although still enjoying her walks. Hoping this is going to help although at the moment she is not tempted by it.
Best wishes for Casey's fast recovery. Luckily she has a loving human to look after her.

It is so difficult when our wonderful companions are off colour , I hope this does the trick :)

Sounds like her liver is affected - its a problem as they do have to be on a diet. Do hope things will get positive!

Oh, Yes, hope Casey is better soon..xo

Can Casey have chicken broth? If so, maybe boil a chicken...and give it to Casey. Lots of great electrolytes to help with dehydration, good taste and it smells good too. Some could be added to a little of the canned food to make it more gravy like. I hope Casey feels better soon.

Ah, crossing fingers for your lovely canine friend - they are just the best friends aren't they!

@laurieewilson thanks Laurie for your suggestion - Vet recommended boiled chicken - which I am doing but still not able to tempt her - ideally they wanted to keep her in a put her on a drip but said too lively at the moment she would keep pulling it out. Will keep trying with the food and the medication - thanks for your comment much appreciated.

@maggiemae Yes Maggie, jaundiced/liver trying as the Vet recommended adding boiled chicken - which I am doing but still not able to tempt her - ideally they wanted to keep her in a put her on a drip but said too lively at the moment she would keep pulling it out. Will keep trying with the food and the medication - thanks for your comment much appreciated.

@ziggy77 Oh, Jo, that is rough. I was taking my cat into the vet daily for the afternoon....they had her on an IV and force fed her. I was not the "bad guy", and she recovered. Just got to get Casey over the hump. I so hope all goes well! I have been there.....my cat is my kid. Hang tight! :-)

Hoping your furkid recovers really quickly. Perhaps the bland ID food will encourage her to eat her own food.....it's not easy when they become ill at that age. Lets hope its just a blip and shes back to her normal self soon.

There is not enough we can do for our family, no matter the species. Hope that Casey finds health again very soon.
