Really beautiful, especially on black. What flower is this and is it all the way under water?

@365karly1 it is a snakeshead fritillary (so named because the buds resemble a snakes head) and it is partly out of the water and partly under the water if you look at the back of the flower and where stem sticks up you can see a ripple and rings of water as the gently breeze was moving it gently across the surface
