Had our own personalised tour of RSS Discovery this evening which has just returned from a research trip around Greenland and Newfoundland and saw an unexpectedly high number of icebergs.
We then took the skipper out to dinner and she forced me to drink wine on a school night!!
Very cool! My son is a polar engineer for a seismic research group, and he is in Greenland right now with his research team. In November to February they are in Antarctica.
