Red Advent Roses with Bokey Glitter. by 30pics4jackiesdiamond

Red Advent Roses with Bokey Glitter.

Liz challenged me to take a photograph to explore the theme of advent. So................... I looked up the definition and found it to be :- the fact of an event happening, an invention being made, or a person arriving.
These red roses they were a gift from a surprise guest (a person arriving) for ma-in-law's 90th birthday tea-party (a happenning).

The difficulty for me was two fold. Studio was already set up for dinner (so very little room on dining table!) and again I've struggled to get definition across the breadth of the photo.

For OU course this week I have to explore 'my style' - well looking at today's, and previous two days it certainly isn't high-key!!!

Many, many thanks for your lovely feedback and tips on recent photos, you've made a low-key photographer feel really really chuffed!!

@lizhammond Hi, I considered a calender, lots of glitter, the Nativity and nothing worked. Hope I'm allowed to get away with this interpretation??

Very pretty! You are definitely developing your own unique style!
