Walk along a Bridle Way

Editting is not cheating- that was the opening sentence of this month's topic of the course I'm doing. This week I'm grappling gradient overlays.

This is a tad overdone, but I've used up my free 'pro' export for the day.
Beautiful!! fav

i hear you. i keep trying to get to grips with gradient overlays. i watch tutorials that make it look simple and then can't seem to do it. again! it's worked jolly well here. and i totally agree that editing is not cheating. having visited an exhibition in washington about the beginnings of photography, they were enhancing and altering as much as they could back in the day ;)

we dont have deciduous trees here unless people plant them, in a park in town there is some autumn colour and the odd tree here and there, but nothing like this. it is green all year round here, no snow either.

ps i dont know what a gradient overlay is, i will check!
November 18th, 2019
It is an overlayer that makes the picture darker as you drag it down over it - I haven't mastered it yet-not sure I ever will.
