I really wanted a W to be for White Tailed Fish Eagle- they had every other type of White-something there and an African fish eagle, I only sulked for a nano-second and went off hunting for something dfferent!!!! Thank you for liking my talons shot x
@30pics4jackiesdiamond the African Fish Eagle is an amazing bird. It's call is so distinctive and I love how it throws it's head back when it calls irrespective whether stationary or in flight. There are quite a few pairs living in our valley.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Coda Falconry at Waltham Abbey. They are fantastic! Hubby's 60th gift from the Teenager and now the Teenager wants it for a gift for himself too! Can't blame him, the day was amazing.
@salza oh Sally to see them in the wild must be such a privilege!! I've seen European White Tailed Sea Eagles in Norway which was fantastic, but at a distance!!
