Wobbly/Millennium/Harry Potter Bridge looking towards St Paul's
He hadn't ever walked across The Wobbly Bridge, so we made a detour to St Paul's Cathedral to cross The Thames to get back to the south bank.
One day I'll take my tripod-thingy-whatsit and big camera and make the iconic long exposure photo without the commuters on the bridge ( but we all know I won't! Why carry that on a train and lug it around the city?!)
While it's not a mirror image from left to right, I like the symmetry of the dome and front of the building and the feeling of balance from one side to the other.
Why would you want/need to take an “iconic” photo if it means dozens of other people have taken it too? Especially if it would be inconvenient to do it! This is a splendid shot. As Vikki says, “Aces!”
Thank you all. It was pleasant to walk across as for a change it wasn't busy, busy, busy crowded!!!
