There's nothing quite like a new book and the start of a new novel is there? Bet most of you remember those opening lines of fairy tales? These are the first lines of a traditional Indian fable from a brand new children's story book.

@bill_fe I had another go at focussing on central area only as you often do with your bokeh shots -think am getting better!! Any advice on how this could have been improved?
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Not bad for 'selective focus'.
I don't think text is an appropriate choice for this type of shot, though.
I would have focused on the first line, to make that stand out as the important line.
The problem with focusing on the first line here, would be to throw the text below it out of focus; making it difficult to concentrate on only the first line.
@bill_fe thank you Bill. It just doesn't 'sing' but if subject not appropriate that makes sense! Do you mind if I still tag you occasionally for advice???
@joysabin thank you Joy
