Daff in Glass

First time had a chance to play with my birthday present from The Girls. This is the second shot I took.

Anyone got any tips on how best to use a small clear ball for photography please can you advise me. I do know not to over use it, for fear of boredom, and not to keep it where the sun shines, for fear of burning the house down!

My daffodils are not doing too well, don't think it's been cold enough for the bulbs and now it's too wet and warm (oh and I'm a rubbish gardener too!)

They are fun to play around with but they can be rather frustrating as well. Nice details in the ball.
