At first, it was icky but, then its not the poor things fault that we consider them disgusting. This is a great visual, lots of curves, refraction, and textures. Does look good on black.

@jqf ooh it could be!!! @s4sayer We went to an open air museum that has saved houses and cottages all over the south downs and they had school kids in and we stumbled in as a volunteer was preparing a talk. Apparently they are fed blood every 6 months. ( the leeches, not the children!!!)

The Weald and Downland Museum at Singleton is a superb resource but I have never seen leeches there before so I must go back and find them.

@davemockford I took so many photos yesterday Dave. Over the past 30 odd years have photographed the buildings, the animals but never leeches!!
