Beehive Yourself

A honey bee, probably from a local apiarist who's pleased the worker bees have finally gone out to get some pollen and nectar which are essential to their survival.

This little lady bee was knackered from visiting all my tulips and was having a quick rest. I have so many failed bee in tulip shots - glad it was warm in the garden sitting in the sunshine.

A lovely macro of the bee. I feel worried about bees. This year I went out carefully to take a photo of one I had seen on a hyacinth only to find it was dead and decomposing.

@wendyfrost @rjb71 @roachling @gillian1912 @ludwigsdiana it's not a bee, but thank you for your lovely comments. Mr Goulson is also worried about these too. Louise thank you for correction xx
