Shanne's challenge was set thus " For your Get Pushed challenge this week, I'm going to riff on something northy set me years ago: use different lighting (low key / high key) and/or processing to take a picture of a household item, such as a piece of cutlery or a toothbrush'.
Oh my this took ages. I had an idea of catching the spray from the nozzle but also the reflection of the can in the glass. Wouldn't work. So I concentrated on the reflection and experimented with shutter speed, iso, apperture etc.
You can see where the polish is entering the frame top left and then hitting the glass around the can's reflection.
A tad of processing, including a flip, and here it is, evidence I do do housework!
Three good things
Only 100% over budget for Christmas this coming weekend
Made a chicken last three separate meals v4m
Saw "The Favourite" at the cinema, weird film and Olivia Colman should get an Academy Award
