What a gem! A stark exterior hides catacombes, a museum and a baroque nave full of gilded wood carvings.The Jesse Tree, showing the ancestry of Mary, Joseph and Jesus , is jaw droppingly ornate, intricate and just a tad the wrong side of tasteful.
