Colour Theory Kitchen Still Lifes (Lives?)

We're learning Colour Theory with AYWMC, it's a fascinating topic, used extensivley in the psychology of advertising and cinematography. I'm now constantloy spotting colour themes in TV programmes and adverts.

Our task this month is to use Colour Theory in planning and executing shots, my colleagues are being very clever with Lightroom/Photoshop and changing backgrounds and hues- but I don't have the enthusiasm to even try that in Affinity.

Today I used a colour wheel app and set out to colour match my turquoise lunch pot.

Monochrome - obvious
Complimentary - pair with red
Analagous - link with blue and green
Triadic - put with pink and yellow
Tetradic - purple, green and red.
Not pointing fingers, but you touched a soft turquoise spot... ;) My favourite is by far the Monochromatic capture.
Colour theory is fascinating. Especially when you can match it to real life.

I'd say well done. It's not the typical colors on the color wheel either. Turquoise...where does that fall. And just where is my color wheel?
