There I was paddling in my wellies, doing a bit of fossicking, when this beautiful swan silently glided up to me. It was a bit unnerving to be too close to fill the view finder with a whole swan!!
@cashep19 most kind @erinr most handsome bird he was too @onewing wanted to look in my fossicking bag
@randystreat he was very calm, so I was too @lyndamcg it's almost the classic dribbles shot, without the refractions
@koalagardens isn't he??!!! @carole_sandford it's urban myth they can break an arm, and he wasn't hissing so I wasn't in his territory and he had no idea of 2m distancing either @monicac thank you
@anniesue very stealthy @joansmor he's gorgeous @jb030958 he could have got a bit closer, but not much @Dawn excellent description of him
@365anne it was such a serene scene to be in!! @ludwigsdiana thank you Diana @ljmanning still had camera whipped out to get him!!
@monikozi thank you @casablanca only when protecting their ground and young, he's an isolated male so might be lonely?! Sue and I told him we had no food, he understood and waddled away @linnypinny as with all wildlife
@marlboromaam their necks are always so grubby!! @grammyn umm no to painting him I think! @wakelys wasn't he cute?! As he waddled off
