The syrup is a nice purple (could be blueberry syrup instead of maple) but the pancakes do look a little less appealing in that greenish tint.
I’m too chicken to try this, just going for one day with a flash of red.

Good for you for learning new things! Purple syrup…strange, but I bet you could market it here in Manhattan (K-State purple everywhere you look)!

Nice composition, but as you say, the spirit toning is a bit weird, but I wouldn't know where to start!!

I think this is how it works. From my fooling around, I just don't thinks it works esthetically every time. I though maybe it was blueberry syrup. I like all the details in the photo.
