The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum at Singleton had a summer solstice themed weekend and today there was a Tudor wedding. Such fun making posies, taking part in the wedding procession, dancing around the maypole (no ribbons! A Victorian affectation and addition!). We missed the Morris dancers and singers but met Ruth Goodman, saw the Repair Shop building and missed the rain!
What a great day. I like to watch that show. I think the episodes I've seen are old, but then everything about their subjects is old. I like the collage of photos from the day.
