For my get pushed challenge this week Mary said: " I'd like you to shoot something looking more or less straight down from as high as you are comfortable with. Indoors or outdoors" It has taken some thinking to find somewhere high and a subject, this is not a very good shot, but I was getting desperate!! It is taken looking over the banisters in my house to the bottom, shoes added for interests sake!
Interesting! Did you zoom in for this shot? If you hadn't explained it, I might have thought it was looking down into a drawer or bin of some kind - from the size of the shoes. Choice of perspective can make such a huge difference in how we see a subject. Nice first response to the challenge, and I see from the other two you're really on fire!
@mcsiegle Yes, Mary, it is zoomed in, I didnt really want to but everything was so insignificant if I left it on actual size. Bit of a learning curve I think!
@farmreporter Thanks for your encouragement, I really am not very happy with this shot, an experiment that didnt quite work as I had hoped and envisaged
