This is a lilac - not sure which of the hundreds of varieties it is though!

@salza @brett101 @farmreporter@quietpurplehaze @megpicatilly @dawnee Hmmm, if it is a lilac it is nothing like any I have seen before! It is a low-growing shrub, not more than about 18 inches high and does not resemble the lilac trees we have in the garden! Thanksfor taking the time to look and comment, appreciated.
